Visit Junkyard West Fargo for an evening celebrating reading and supporting the West Fargo Public Library! This special celebration is part Silent Reading Party and part fundraiser.
The Party: Hang out with friends and neighbors at Junkyard West Fargo. Read, chat, learn more about the library, grab a beer or a snack, and have fun!
The Fundraiser: Participate in "Blind Date with a Book" by donating to the Friends of the WFPL. Your donation earns you a mysterious new book to fall in love with. Crack open your new book at the Silent Reading Party! You can also support the WFPL by visiting select vendors, like Sifted & Sweet Baking Co., to purchase their goods. A portion of sales will benefit the Friends of the WFPL.
About the Friends
The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library is a non-profit group that supports the library through fundraisers and volunteering. The Friends make it possible for the library to provide things such as prizes for reading challenges and, in the past, have helped fund programs such as the Library on Wheels service and One Book, One Community. In recent years, the Friends helped purchase furniture for the library's second location at West Fargo CIty Hall and more.
